Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Tunisia, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in Tunisia showed varied performance across different metrics. Here’s a breakdown of the top five apps according to Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 975 and 1.5K. Despite the absence of revenue data, the app had a steady number of active users, starting at 35.9K and ending the quarter with 30.2K.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K and dropping to around 806 by the end of December. Active users showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 13.2K.

Yassir saw an increase in active users, reaching a peak of 3.6K mid-December. Weekly downloads ranged from 161 at the start of the quarter to a high of 862 in mid-November.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated steady growth in active users, increasing from 6.1K to 7.1K by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads also showed a gradual rise, ending at 420.

Careem – rides, food & more had a stable number of active users, reaching 707 in mid-December. Downloads remained low, with a slight peak at 115 in the same period.
